December 5th at Nagoya International Conference Center.

My first single with Mr. Sakuraba!

I was in the eighth grade. I dreamed of being a professional wrestler.

I strongly wanted to be a professional wrestler in the future. I told my parents about my dream and they let me go to Takada dojo for training. I went to Takada Dojo in Ikegami

which was a little far from Musashikosugi, but within biking distance.When I was in the junior high school, even though Mr. Sakuraba was very busy, he taught me several times.

It was like sparring with a baby. It was like nursing a baby. I couldn’t say that I was sparring with him. I was pinned down. I just couldn’t move! And I was tickled!

I was so impressed with his strength that I wanted to be strong someday. It’s a serious thing, but it made me realize how strong I am.

I felt the importance of this experience.

In January of my third year of junior high school. I competed in the Tokyo Wrestling Championships. I won the tournament.

I received a gold medal. When I came back to the Dojo. I happened to see Mr. Sakuraba there. “Ohara, you won! You did it! Let me see your medal!” He praised me. I was so happy to hear that. I still remember the emotion clearly.

From Mr. Sakuraba’s point of view, I was just one of his many students. He doesn’t even remember me. It may be a trivial thing, but

I will never forget it. Mr. Sakuraba gave me words of inspiration and encouragement for my dreams. 

And even now, the experience of that time in the dojo and words from the dojo

still shining in my heart like a gold medal.

After making my debut in Mexico, I became a professional. I have had fought with Mr. Sakuraba in the past. We fought together in Osaka and Ryogoku.

It’s been 22 years since then. Finally, my first single match. In Nagoya, I want to have a match that only Hajime Ohara and Kazushi Sakuraba can present.

This is a dream come true in my life, 

very special day in my life. I want to be a part of it. I hope I can be a support to those who are pursuing their dreams and goals in the future.

I hope that I can encourage others to reach their dreams and goals in the future.
