Germany trip #last
The last day of my Germany trip:
Because it was the last morning, we went to a hotel buffet for breakfast. The fruits were very delicious. I had no idea there were going to be so many problems on the way back.
The 8th problem:
The plane’s departure was late. Because of another strike, the flight that departed from Berlin was one hour late. So we weren’t in time to change planes at Amsterdam. We were thinking whether we would stay in Amsterdam one day or take another flight. I wouldn’t have minded staying in Amsterdam because I could have gone to a rubber shop there. But I was too optimistic.
The 9th problem: Xiamen stopover
We consulted with the airline. They said the next flight was full and we needed to go via Xiamen (in China), taking 23 hours.
OMG!
Our original flight was going to take only 13 hours. But we took 23 hours, so we were irritated. I was so angry and tired I wanted to do anything to cheer myself up, so I bought a Miffy soft toy.
In Xiamen the Chinese staff were bad at English and we were confused. The Xiamen to Narita flight was late, so we took 24 hours to come back to Japan.
There were all kinds of problems, but I have good memories of my Germany trip.
There are still a lot of things that I want to do, so I want to go to Berlin again.
