The 5th day of my Germany trip:

From this day until the end of the trip, we went sightseeing and shopping.

First, we went to famous markets. They were like flea markets. They are held in a variety of places. This time we went to two markets. Depending on the market, the things they sell are different. Even though it was early in the morning, there were many people. Because in Germany, shops are closed on Sunday. People have nothing to do, so they go to marketd or relax in cafes. I felt it was different to Japan how people relaxed.

First, I drank a drink called Sahlep.

I had thought it was like tea or soup, but actually it was thick and sweet. I didn’t like this!

I ate soup. After that, we went shopping for clothes, bag, underwear and shoes. In the shopfronts, there were gasmasks and medical equipment. It was funny!

I couldn’t lose focus or I would be ripped off.

Next, we went to the Berlin Wall.

We took many holiday photos. I studied about the Berlin Wall coming down when I was a junior high school student. But the real Berlin Wall is very big and thick. I was impressed that this wall could be broken just by the power of people using their hands.

This day’s dinner was a Chinese restaurant, but the food was disgusting. I will never ever go again.
