 拳行館空手道は、久高政棋幸利、拳聖十段が、戦前より、最初に空手の防具を開発し、安全に空手の試合・競技が出来るよう工夫研究されて、”実際に当て極めて”空手の組手試合が、怪我の心配せず、安全に戦い、勝負の判定も明解で、誰もが安心して楽しめる最も実践的なで、楽しめる空手競技法　（フルコンタクト競技法、Full Contact Competition System ) を開発され、拳行館の指導員達、主に久高正之空観、範士九段、山崎久信、拳豪五段、渡辺俊二、拳豪五段、石野茂、拳豪五段、等等が、アメリカ・カナダ各地に於いて、指導普及に努めてきました。

＊  戦前、沖縄・昭霊寺流の師範、宮城長順先生が、”剛柔流”の名称で京都武徳会に登録したのが、日本本土における空手道の最初の流派誕生です。宮城長順師範の“空手教本”でも述べられております様に、”空手の技は、当たると危険なので、空手の競技化をするには、安全防具の開発と、競技規則の制定が必要で、競技者に、怪我をさせぬように配慮し、勝敗を判り易くする事が肝要です、この事を充分注意して研究工夫する様に記されております。

＊  空手の組手競技化について、宮城長順師範は、常日頃から、“沖縄唐手・組手の王家“と謳われた、少林寺流の総師範、久高政棋幸利指南に、上記の、教本で述べられております事を、繰り返し、繰り返しお話され、久高指南に託されたとの事です。＜終戦直後、久高指南は、満州より、沖縄に帰られた時、宮城師範と親しく交流し、数度にわたり会議され、将来、空手道をどの様に発展させるか熱心に話し会われ、又、他の沖縄在住の師範達と会議を重ねられ、少林流の知花朝信師範始め，松林琉の長峰長順師範等等に、沖縄空手連盟の再興を託された。

＊  その直後、久高指南は、宮城長順師範の葬儀を終えて、九州に戻り、福岡で、戦後最初の空手道場″少林寺流・拳行館道場”を開設、青少年の気力・体力の強化鍛錬と精神力の向上を目指し、沖縄空手の修錬・護身練磨を通して、国民の健康増進、社会の平和と発展を願い教育・指導にあたられた。

Japanese Martial Arts Representatives visited the New York World Fair for the first time after the Second World War.

 

Masayoshi Kori Hisataka, Kensei 10^th Dan, Founder of the Original Okinawa Style of

Shorinjiryu Kenkokan Karatedo Sohombu Dojo, visited the New York World Fair and demonstrated Karate and Judo at the Japanese hall and the American hall for the first time after the Second World War.

Later, he visited Colombia University, New York State University, West Point Military Academy, Fort Hamilton Army Base, New York Police Academy, and other elite institutions, introducing Karate.

Now, Karate has become very popular in the United States.

 

Masayoshi Kori Hisataka, Kensei 10^th Dan, Founder of the Original Okinawa Style of

Shorinjiryu Kenkokan Karatedo Sohombu Dojo, developed the Safety Protector to enable people to practice Karate with direct punching and kicking without any injuries.

This Full Contact Competition System has the character of safe fights, clear judgments and dynamic techniques.

 

Shihan Masayuki Kukan Hisataka 9^th Dan  Hanshi,  Shihan Hisanobu Yamazaki 5^th Dan Kengo,  Shihan Syunji Watanabe 5^th Dan Kengo,  and Shihan Shigeru Ishino 5^th Dan Kengo have promoted the Full Contact Competition System in the U.S. and Canada.

 

The First Karate style registered at the Koyo Butokukai was Goju-ryu, registered by Shihan Chojun Miyagi who was originally the Shihan of the Okinawa Shorei-ryu before the Second World War. He mentioned that the practice of Karate and Karate competition is so dangerous, equipment should be developed for safety and for clear judgment in competition.

 

Shihan Chojun Miyagi passed the importance of safety equipment to Masayoshi Kori Hisataka, Kensei 10^th Dan, Founder of the Original Okinawa Style of Shorinjiryu Kenkokan Karatedo Sohombu Dojo.  When Masayoshi Kori Hisataka, Kensei 10^th Dan came back to Okinawa from Manchuria after the Second World War, he had many meetings with Shihan Chojun Miyagi for the future development of Karate.

 

Moreover,  Masayoshi Kori Hisataka, Kensei 10^th Dan, was commissioned for the renaissance of Okinawa Karate by Shihan Choshin Chibana of Shorin-ryu (少林流) and Shihan Chojun Nagamine of Shorin-ryu (松林流).

 

After the funeral of Shihan Chojun Miyagi, Masayoshi Kori Hisataka, Kensei 10^th Dan, started the Shorinjiryu Kenkokan Karate Dojo in Fukuoka, Kyushu, as one of the first Karate Dojo in Japan, and instructed young people to have a Healthy mind and Body, searching for World Peace and Development.
