Germany trip #1
The First day of my Germany trip
I stayed near the airport the night before the flight, so the morning was easy. there were 5 trip members. i was going to Europe for the first time so I was very interested.
I changed my money to Euros and checked in. I forgot the time difference between Japan and Germany, so after I got on the plane I noticed the flight time was 11 hours. Oh my god!
Cocacola boys!
I used KLM Airlines for the first time. That plane had a screen in front of each seat.
The screen had a lot of content.

A lot of meals came and as I was getting sick of long flight, i arrived in Amsterdam.
I had time to change flights. I went shopping and enjoyed tea time.
Amsterdam is famous for tulips and chocolate. The next plane was very small.
One of my team member’s stomach was so big, the seat belt wasn’t long enough. He supported the table on his stomach. It was very photogenic flight time.
I arrived in Berlin at 7PM. I met another member that had arrive in Germany before us. For this trip, we had planned to rent a big car and we went to the rent-a-car shop.
But…………
We had our first trouble(the trip had a lot of trouble, like video game checkpoints).
There was no car.
Oh no! I heard from the rent-a-car shop staff that we needed to get the car in the afternoon, but it was already night, so they had cancelled the rental without returning our money.
The shop didn’t have another car. Instead, we used a taxi.
We went to our hotel. First, I hung my rubber clothes in the closet, so there was a strong rubber smell. I was very happy but I felt sorry for the hotel cleaners.
We went to dinner at a German restaurant. But the flight had been so long and we were very tired. This time was 4AM in Japan so we were sleepy. But the meal was very big and tasted nice.
After dinner, we went to a supermarket and bought breakfast. That was the end of our first day.
This day I learned these things about Germany.
-The tomato juice is as thick as ketchup.
-Mashed potato servings are very large.
-The pronunciation of “coffee” is “ka-fi”
-In Germany everyone is taller and traffic lights change quickly(in about 10 seconds).
To be continued…..
