After participating in a tournament, although people naturally want to relax, it is very important to consider the results of one’s tournament matches.
Why did the participant win or lose their matches? What were the good or bad strategies? We need to know what went well and what went poorly, and apply this knowledge to our future practice to cover or address our weak points and improve our good points.
Today, I visited the examination for Dan and Kyu grading, and the joint practice with our different Shorinjiryu Kenkokan Karatedo dojos here in the Kanto Region.
I had a very good impression that all students practiced hard to prepare for a full day of Kata practice, Kumite practice and Bunkai Kumite practice.
I am very happy to see the students improve very quickly with their continuous practice.
I hope that the promoted students will have wonderful fights in their next Tournament.
